Meet Terry Low and Anthony Canata, attorneys concentrating in disability benefits litigation for employees: ERISA governed STD and LTD claim preparation, denials and appeals.
Attorney Terry Low
Terry has been representing injured workers and professionals for over thirty-five years.
His practice of law is now concentrated in: Disability insurance claims and appeals; ERISA federal litigation; Private disability insurance claims for physicians and other professionals; Workers’ Compensation; and Other meritorious claims.

Attorney Anthony Canata
EARLY CAREER:
Attorney Canata began his career in Boston in 1997 at the law firm of Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, where he practiced complex corporate litigation. He returned to Western Massachusetts in 2000 seeking a more balanced life and a practice more aligned with his personal beliefs. For more than ten years he has focused on representing indigent criminal defendants, handling well over a thousand cases and earning the respect and admiration of clients, colleagues, judges and court personnel. In 2010 he met and began to work with Attorney Low. He and Attorney Low became partners in 2012 and moved the practice from Springfield MA to Northampton MA in 2013.
EDUCATION & BACKGROUND:
Attorney Canata attended Trinity College, a highly selective liberal arts college located in Hartford, Connecticut, as the first Class of 1963 Scholar recipient. He majored in philosophy, studied at the College’s Rome campus and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with Honors. He is now the chair of the Class of 1963 Scholarship Committee.
He completed his education at the University of Pennsylvania Law School in Philadelphia. The Ivy League School is consistently ranked as one of the top law schools in the country.
